The Biologics Registry of the HKSR was established in early 2005 to provide safety information of the novel therapeutic agents to our local rheumatologists and physicians.
With the support of pharmaceutical companies, HKSR has employed a contract term research assistant through Tuen Mun Hospital to perform data collection and analyses. A formal audit of the use of the TNF inhibitors supported by the Samaritan fund of HAHO has been performed. Statistics on the use of biologics are being published 6-monthly in our JCRI as well as other international meetings.
